CHS FBLA performs charity event for less fortunate in Centralia

One year in the making, Centralia High School FBLA performed its Second Annual charitable event for the residents of Centralia that are less fortunate. Trick or Treat, So Others Can Eat, was the name of the event that collected canned-good items, and other nonperishables'.
Halloween Night brought trick or treaters to every door, but candy was not the objective here. FBLA made their way to doors as a mission to better serve the community of Centralia, a mission that was pledged by CHS FBLA this year.
Many members came out and supported the event. The items that were collected will go to the local food pantry, located next to Sonic on Highway 22. The Advisors and Officer Team thanks all who helped!

"Have a Six Flags Day!"

A mission to accelerate FBLA’s member numbers and participation, Missouri FBLA sponsored a “Fun Day” to a park of your choice. CHS FBLA chose Six Flags: St. Louis as their destination. Member participation for the trip almost doubled since last year to a staggering 39 members. Many deemed the trip a success, and want to continue this tradition for many years to come.
Also this month, FBLA hosted a “Video Game Extravaganza!”, members showed up to compete in tournaments in games like Call of Duty: World at War. Members played on systems ranging from PS3, to the Wii, and the Xbox 360.
